The Daisy is a classic cocktail that traditionally only includes a spirit with lemon juice, sugar or grenadine, and sparkling water.  We love this version of the Daisy cocktail that we stumbled upon, pairing the panela sugar we use as the base of our Amber Rum with our Amber Rum itself.  This version of the cocktail was created by Eric Lorincz at the Savoy Hotel, and though he leaves the sparkling water out, we won’t tell if you add some.

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously, until the sugar is dissolved, then strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with the orange twist, and serve.
