This recipe was created by Lynette, our distiller Chris’s wife, for a friend’s wedding.  The name of this cocktail is a portmanteau of the bride and groom’s last names – Schwartz and Waters.  This was her take on creating a martini with Flying Pepper – we love it, the wedding party loved it, and we know you will too!

  1. Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaking tin, then shake.
  2. Strain into a martini glass.
  3. Garnish with a lime wedge or candied ginger piece, and serve.
Recipe Notes

The ginger-peppercorn syrup is a simple syrup made with a 1:1 sugar to water ratio.  Add fresh ginger and black peppercorns while heating the syrup, then allow to steep for a few hours.  Strain the syrup before using.

Lynette used this recipe to make the cucumber ginger juice, or you can see if your local Whole Foods or juice bar can make some for you!
